Use the force in Lego Star Wars Battles, coming 2020
Lego Star Wars is coming back to mobile! Due for a release somewhere in the vague vicinity of “2020,” Lego Star Wars Battles is an action strategy game developed by TT Games Brighton. We don’t know too much, but we do know it’ll feature real-time, one-versus-one multiplayer battles starring minifig versions of all your favorite Star Wars heroes and villains. RTS classic Homeworld warps onto mobile
Borderlands publisher Gearbox is teaming up with Stratosphere Games to bring Homeworld to mobile. Aside from a pair of remasters, the venerable real-time strategy series has been dormant for well over a decade. A third entry is on the way for PC via a crowdfunding project, but we’re apparently also getting a mobile title too. We don’t have any info aside from the teaser above, though Homeworld 3 backers will get early access at some point.
Spooky Sims? Addams Family Mystery Mansion creeps onto Android on October 9
The Addams Family make their return to cinemas in animated form next month alongside a Sims-esque movie tie-in game for mobile. Between decorating the family’s gothic abode and collecting characters, we’ll also apparently get a story mode of some kind. We’ll can find out on October 9 when the game launches (you can pre-register here).
Be jealous of players in Japan getting to play Dragon Quest Walk on September 12
The other gaming sensation in Japan looks to knock Pokémon Go off its spot as the go-to location-based game on September 12. There’s still no word on a global release, unfortunately, so it’ll be down to Japanese players to slay the slime hordes and go on the series’ typically quirky, gorgeously designed adventures. Puzzle and chill with Vestigium, coming September 24
Tepes Ovidiu, creators of mood and stress relief games, have a new game on the way in the beautifully animated form of Vestigium. Set to launch on September 24, the free-to-play title follows Qirie as she looks to rid her home of a dark invading force. How? With card-based memory puzzles. You can pre-register here.
Shocker: Leaked sprites suggest more Pokémon are coming to Pokémon Go
A whole bunch of “Gen 5” Pokémon sprites have been datamined for Pokémon Go. It’s about the time of year when new ‘mons hit the game, so there’s nothing too surprising, but you can check out the sprites here.

Knock that smug look off Blue’s face in Pokémon Masters
Pokémon Masters got off to a masterful start on the Play Store charts this past week with over 10 million downloads in just four days since launch. To celebrate, developer DeNA has rolled out the first in-game event starring Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow’s rival trainer, Gary Oa-I mean Blue.
PUBG Mobile Lite gets even more love with new content and WinnerPass event
PUBG Mobile Lite is continuing its momentum from a broader launch last week with a chance to unlock an Elite WinnerPass — the game’s version of a battle pass — Season 4 for free. There’s also new content too. Check it all out here.
Pokémon Go’s best feature is coming to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
Adventure Sync was one of the best additions to Pokémon Go and the offline step-tracking feature is now on its way to Niantic’s take on the Wizarding World. The word is the functionality is “coming soon,” so keep your wands at the ready.
Game on with Quidditch in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
Speaking of wizards, the other popular Harry Potter game for Android is expanding yet again with the addition of the fake, but awesome broom-based sport, Quidditch. Grab the snitch from today with the latest update.
Play the fifth and final chapter in Agent A, the best adventure game on mobile
Last but by no means least, the absolutely superb adventure/escape game Agent A has finally come to its long-awaited conclusion with the launch of chapter 5. Can you outfox Ruby La Rouge in the ultimate showdown of wits? Get the game here for $6.99, you won’t regret it.
